Michail Antonio has earned a fairytale encore after signing a one-year contract at Watford - almost two years after the car crash which left him in hospital for three weeks.
After training with the Hornets for a month, the former West Ham striker impressed head coach Alessio Dionisi enough to win a deal at the age of 36.
And with Dionisi juggling thin resources due to glut of injuries, Antonio could even feature on the bench for the home game against Stoke.
Apart from a short spell Al-Sailiya in Qatar earlier this year, Antonio has been without a club since the Hammers released him at the end of his contract in the summer of 2025.
