Alessio Dionisi has been learning English by watching movies - and his favourite is star-crossed Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts’ orbits colliding in Notting Hill.
Watford’s new head coach has even been to check out the famous blue door in the overpriced West London neighbourhood with his wife on an exploratory trip to see the capital’s sights.
And as the king of romantic comedy movies put it himself: The readers of Horse and Hound will be absolutely delighted.
Dionisi takes charge of his first League game against Southampton at Vicarage Road determined to hurdle the language barrier which has tripped up some of his predecessors, and he has stumbled upon Grant’s emotionally vulnerable travel bookshop owner as his role model for elocution.
