BOVE COULD BE OUT UNTIL DECEMBER: Watford must cope for at least seven more games without Edo

Edorado Bove is likely to be out of Watford’s starting line-up until December - and they will cut no corners by rushing him back to fill their conspicuous gap in midfield.

Although the overall fitness bulletin from head coach Alessio Dionisi, for the first time this season, was largely positive ahead of the Championship resumption after a three-week international break, the protracted absence fans feared the most will go on for at least several more weeks.

Bove, the midfield dynamo whose energy sustained the Hornets’ promising first month of the campaign, is confined to the gym as he recovers from knee ligament damage.
