Alessio Dionisi is sending his league of nations into battle convinced they are united, not hampered, by the language barrier.
The most cosmopolitan squad in the Championship found its backbone, by recovering from being outplayed for 45 minutes against Preston North End, to win after falling behind for the first time since Boxing Day.
Italian Dionisi hopes to unleash another nationality - Dutch striker Myron Boadu, signed on deadline day - before the international break.
But after using players operating under no fewer than 15 different flags to churn out a second League win of the season, the Hornets head coach has remained faithful to his golden rule: He addresses his squad in English.
