All aboard the Skylark - Watford fans face 5,958 miles of travel on the road in the 2026-27 Championship season.
Bristol City has already been moved to an inconvenient slot, at the behest of Sky Sports, and others will follow.
There isn’t a short-range away League fixture until QPR in December, so fill the tank (or charge the battery), check the tyre pressure and oil gauge, line up some decent in-flight entertainment on the sound system and safe travels.
In batting order (from publication of the fixtures), here’s a pick ’n’ mix of titbits about each trip awaiting loyal Hornets - Middlesbrough is the longest trek, a 470-mile round trip, while QPR remains the shortest since ‘that’ lot up the road slipped off our roster.
